Dominion Helping Hands Ministry empowers youth and families in South St. Petersburg to break cycles of poverty by providing equitable access to education, economic opportunity, and critical life resources.

Who We Are
Founded in 2019, Dominion Helping Hands Ministry (DHHM) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to uplifting high-risk youth and families through holistic services focused on education, career readiness, and essential support.
We respond to urgent community needs—including food insecurity, legal assistance, and housing referrals—while nurturing long-term development through life skills and academic advancement.
Strategic Milestones Achieved
Milestones Achieved as of January 31, 2026 By August 30, 2025: Successfully secured $10,000 in funding Gained support from 3 key community partners Submitted 5 competitive grant proposals Hosted 2 donor engagement events to build long-term relationships By November 30, 2025: Launched a culturally enriched after-school program offering performing arts and tutoring Currently serving 50 students per week Established partnerships with 3 local schools and community organizations Recruited and trained 5 qualified instructors Achieved an 80% parent/student satisfaction rate in program surveys By January 31, 2026: Launched a hot meal nutrition program, now serving 100 balanced meals weekly Partnered with local food suppliers to ensure high standards of quality and nutrition Achieved an 85% satisfaction rate based on participant feedback
